The letter that started this website.

The Peele-Lassiter website was created on August 8, 1998. This site is for all members of the Peele-Lassiter family to keep in contact with each other and to know what is going on with the family. Enjoy.

Below is the letter from Jerome Malloy that got us started on the website.

Dear Family,

Alfred Bacon, Jr. has agreed to develop an Internet Web Site for the family. He needs ideas and photos from you all so that he can put them on the site. If any of you can send those photos with labels stating who is in the picture, when and where it was taken, he said that it would not take too long to scan them in. We also need you to label your photos, so we can get them back to you.

 

Also, there was discussion at last years reunion about changing the design that is on the T-shirts. If anyone has a design idea, please get it to Alfred either by mail or bring it with you to Atlanta so that he can scan them and get all suggestions on the web page so that the entire family has an opportunity to see and vote on all designs.

 

We are also asking that everyone with an email address forward that information to Alfred at bacon@cynergetic.om so that he can create a directory that will allow all family members to email one another of and achievements or upcoming events. If you don't have access to email at home or the job, go to your nearest library and tell someone that you are interested in setting up a free email account and they will instruct you as to how it is done. Once you have it send it to Alfred at bacon@cynergetic.om letting him know that you are on-line and want to be included in the directory. Alfred recommends getting a free Hotmail Gmail email account.

 

This directory and web page will also help the planners of the reunion to disseminate information more quickly.
