REATHER PEELE HATHAWAY (June 16, 1924 - April 19, 2012)
 
It is with heavy hearts that say goodbye to one of God's angels. Today, the Lord said "Well done, thy good and faithful servant," as He called Sis. REATHER PEELE HATHAWAY home for her rest from this world.
She was the 3rd eldest child of Ned and Fannie Peele. She leaves among others, her four children and their families to celebrate her life.

2011 Peele-Lassiter Family Reunion,

Greetings Family!

 

We are proud to host the 2011 Peele-Lassiter Family Reunion, July 15 - 17, 2011 in Richmond, VA.  The City of Richmond is famous for its beautiful neighborhoods, world-class museums, striking architecture, vast cultural and educational heritage and fine dining.  The reunion events will begin Friday evening and go through Sunday afternoon with plenty of free time built into the day on Saturday.

 

Mahlon Grant's Purple Heart

Hello family,

Here is news of a World War II veteran in our family.

Mahlon Grant was the son of Junius and Patsy Grant.  He was in the Army and was awarded the Purple Heart after he was killed in service in North Africa during WWII.  His remains are buried in Italy.

Darrick Selvy & MJ Burson located the Purple Heart and brought it to the 2010 Family Reunion in Atlanta, Georgia.

It was framed by Cousin Lee Bacon.
